The following year, the Great Earthquake struck, and he filmed the trip again. This is a five-minute silent film that edits together excerpts of his two films. The 8.3 magnitude earthquake struck at 5:12am and was centered along the San Andreas Fault, which slices through coastal California. |

Not as magical as the 1905 film, and the street seems to have lost allot of the hustle and bustle of those days.....Still, it's amazing to see the difference 100 years can make. |
